Just a little update, I attended Grace's wedding on last Sat night and will be attending Imil's wedding on next Sat night.. There will be more such occasions till end of year and that means there will be more opportunities for me practicing photography. Bleahhhhh, I even called it photography while my shots were still nothing near amazing hahaha... XD
Grace's wedding was the first time where I took wedding shots. And it's veryyyy difficult yeah? It's difficult to keep up with composition while not losing the moment, so Harry helped me taking some shots from the holy matrimony for he's more experienced haha.. While shooting Grace's, I used mostly my kit lens which later I regret for the nifty fifty could have produced much better photos. It's just because I was wearing high heels and with the 50/f1.8 I had to move around A LOT more and it's painful.. T_T Must practice walking a lot in high heels, maybe?

P.S./ I still don't like my new office.. Some of them are still annoying though I get along better with some more..

Mad happy! Over ecstatic!

Spent my money on a new toy yesterday and now I become very poor. Poor but happy cos it's like fulfilling a long-awaited dream!

I now own a dslr!!

Been wanting it since Dec 2008 walaoo... so long ago,when EOS 450D was still the newest model from EOS three digits line?? And now when I get mine, the 450D model is already discontinued by the manufacturer LOL~ Seems like I take forever to make a decision, to buy - not to buy - to buy - not to buy... it went like that till last April haha.. But I didn't get 450D of course, mine is the more handsome EOS 550D hehe..

Give you box picture only while I'm still trying to find a nice mirror to camwhore with it haha.. I bought it with 18-55mm kit lens from Sentradigital at IDR 7800K, but in fact I spent more than IDR 8500K for screen protector, air blower, a lenspen, UV filter, and an 8G SanDisk Ultra SDHC Card.. o_O

A big lump of money, but do I care??

Of course I do la.. Afterall, it's not a cheap toy leh, but everything it delivers are just paid off. Picture outcomes are awesome and VERY SHARP AND CLEAR AND JUST PRICKING INTO YOUR EYES!! Haha.. I know I sound lame to most advanced DSLR users, but hey.. I've just upgraded from a P&S camera so it's natural for me to boast about the picture quality, right?

new toy arrived

I can't join this year graduation.. the academic officer didn't approve it so gotta wait until early next year, waiting for the other friends to complete their clinic requirements.. I'm sad, yes.. but that's OK.. I didn't put any expectations before so I'm not that disappointed.. after living in FKG for 5 years, I'm all numb now hahaha...

Not an LX3??? You're always talking about LX3 why ended up buying an IXUS then?? Hahaha.. That's because alot things happened that made it clear that I wasn't destined with LX3.. as much as I wanted to buy it, it was out of stock; only the displayed one was available. When I decided to buy the display item, my car's AC compressor was broken and had to be replaced, estimated cost: same as LX3's price!!! So no way, I swear to myself I will not spend the same amount on a camera!! Haha..

If you wonder why I bought it from Oktagon and not from local stores in Surabaya, that's because no local stores in Surabaya carry this product! I have called almost all famous camera stores here and all of them don't have this item.. Guess cos it's quite a new release?

Of course, it's not a DSLR camera, so don't even try to expect it works like one. Will post proper review on this camera later, cos I'm so lazy to type 'em down now haha..
