NBA Madness + Birthday Gifts

I know I am too late at posting this event. NBA Madness has started since June 4 2009 which is three weeks ago!! Hahaha.. The event will be closed today, June 28 2009.. xD Full review here.

Because this is the first NBA Madness event in Indonesia, I managed to pay a visit though I knew there were huge crowd attending. In fact, the crowd was still bearable.. hahaha.. maybe because I came at noon. I think mostly attend the afternoon session.

My first purpose was to watch Miami Heat Dancers of course!! Well... I'm not a dancer though I ever attended a ballet class for 4 years, but I'm always intrigued with dancing :D

And of course, David Lee! I wasn't interested at first, but he looked good on newspaper.. so I came to see hahaha... *shame* He's a giant.. and his gf wasn't as tall as expected.. she's maybe at the same height with me :D

I wanted to join the Free Throw Conga competition, but I was wearing heels and my sister didn't want to accompany me cos she didn't want to embarass ourselves.. =.="" I haven't played basketball since I left highschool so yeah.. maybe she's right! xD We kept watching until 4pm. Heat should perform again at 2.15pm but didn't know why they delayed it until 3.30pm! My legs were almost broken for standing 4 hours straight..

my new lipbalm love

I've been using L'occitane Shea Butter Lip Balm stick for over three months and I almost finished it so I went to stock up. Alas, it was OoS.. no L'occitane counters here had it. The SA offered me to try their Honey & Lemon lipgloss and Peach Blossom lip gloss.. I'd love to but since they came in bundle package and I got to pay for IDR 345K for them, I hesitated.. One lipbalm usually finishes about three months on me.. two lipbalms could take 6 months?? Whoa.. it's too long..

When I was checking out Kose counter aimlessly, the SA offered me this, Kose Vague Lip Cream. First packaging impression, it's like a cheap granny cosmetic casing. Hahaha... even it's metal, it's gold.. not my taste xD I hesitated as always.. never used any from Kose.. but SA told me that it's great.. and it's only IDR 69K. Why didn't give it a try?


My verdict? It was unexpectedly AWESOME. Hahaha.. It's less waxy (do you get what i mean lol....) than L'occitane. It's more creamy (the name already defines itself..), more moisturizing, and stays for whole day.. I usually apply it in the morning and by the time I get home, my lips are still okay.. :) It has a nice light vanilla scent.. better than L'occitane smell. Moreover, it refines my lips texture.. My lips were very dry and chapped.. I've been using it for a week and I can see than my lips are smoother now.. It's LOVE! Hahaha...

L'occitane's sells at IDR 120K for 5 g. Kose's sells at IDR 69K for 3.1 g. The price is quite the same imo.. I don't know how long it'll last.. But as the SA said it's a best-selling product and it's often OoS, I think I'm gonna stock up on this.. :D

lazy update

Hi sorry for neglecting so long.. I've been quite busy..ahh..not that mad busy la.. Just few things and clinic deadlines are coming closer so I gotta focus on finishing my requirements.. and PROFESSION EXAMS!! Oh crap. Le sigh, I gotta study handouts and textbooks again..

I went to TP three days in a row!! They're having sale almost everywhere and I was trying to catch something good. Plus, I have no idea about what gift I wanted so I searched for inspirations.. I bought a top from Vertical Club at less than IDR 150K!!! Super mad cheap!!!! Hahahaa... best deal so far xD Nine West also sells my dreamy peep-toes lower than their last sales.. but I'm confused to spend that amount of money only for shoes! My order from Taiwan has come and I'm now tempted to order more... But I know I seriously need to save up if I want a holiday in this end of year.. =.="" Instead of ordering from the website, I could directly buy them on my holiday trip! But it's very tempting.. xP

prostho clinic: almost KO

Hah! I swear I am freaking tired today!! I think it wasn't my day at all..

At first I thought it was okay cos I could finish rest-seat preparation super quickly.. It started to be messy when I moulded the upper teeth. I had to moulded it two times to get a good one. I then proceeded to the lower teeth using light-body impression.. I repeated it for bloody FOUR times and still couldn't get a good one. All four negative moulds were messy and didn't give any details like common light-body impression mould usually gives.. &^#%#&(!)!!! You know the material is very pricey....

I gave up and so did my super patient instructor.. He then told me to use the alginat instead.. Gaahhhh!!!! And did I mention that I wore heels?? Yes I had to wear heels cos my sneakers were all wet due to heavy raining yesterday... Scrathes on my feet and my legs are in pain now... ;_;

Thankfully, it's finished on the same day.. *sigh*

Tomorrow I'm gonna work on the full denture.. I wish everything goes well..

i should be focusing on Ortho exam tomorrow, but...

I really can't wait to finish it.. still 40 lines to go though.. xD

new haircut

Does it look really new?? I think it is just as same as my usual haircut (before perm).. but dunno I love it so much. It feels like I haven't worn this cut for ages hahaha... xD The stylist blow-dried my hair thus the perm is straightened.. for temporary though.. I really wanna get rid of them, but still have to wait.. The cut makes it feel much lighter and bouncier.. ♥

Been quite bored recently with my dark hair.. I'd like it to be chocolate again.. If you have any color suggestion, kindly tell me please.. would you?

My new hair will be medium-length cos I wanna get rid the perm, though it may be still stay there hahaha.. :D

how does it feel to get back to usual life??

It began with Ortho clinic on Monday, as usual.. Today is the first time I had discussion with Dr. Didik.. though I couldn't answer most of his question, but he was generous to give me pretty score, hahaha... And I'm scheduled to take my Ortho profession exam next week.. Wow~~ I even haven't prepared anything! I wish one week is sufficient, hahaha.. :D

Cindy and Kurniawan are having their shift in Lawang now.. good luck guys!! Two weeks ain't long actually, depends on how you spend most of your time.. hehehe.. xP

Despite of the weirdness, I'm very happy to see my fellow friends again.. It's such a long long time I haven't chatted or joked with them hahaha... Harry even said that my face looked much fresher after PH hahaha... perhaps, thanks to Lancome Primordiale Essence!!

The essence is really great.. of course, clean air in Lawang does benefit, but the essence works wonder. Have I told you that Lancome never fails me?? Hohoho.. It is surely worth the price..

It contains silicone? Yes. It contains alcohol? Yes. It is all about chemical? Umm.. almost yes. But it does good on my skin!!! Other products contains good organics ingredients which suppose to work better than chemical-contained skin care.. but they all breaks me out! Apparently, my skin loves chemicals yes?

Recent samples I got from Lancome are Bifacil, Magnifique Body Lotion, Magnifique Miniatures, Juicy Tubes lipgloss, and their newest spot corrector, Lancome GN White Spot Eraser. So far, I only use JC lipgloss which is super sticky but taste so good, hahaha... xP

My birthday is coming closer!! I'm so happy for that.. not only am I getting money from parents, but also birthday makes a perfect excuse for shopping.. xP You know I have a never-ending shopping list and they can't get mad at me on my special day.. hahas... *evils grin*
