not a Kaspersky ad

Hee-yaa!

My computer is now well-protected! Thanks to Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 :)

Have tried so many trial version of antivirus programs before, but Kaspersky tops them off! Easy to load, strong protection, good performance.. over all of those, I choose this brand!

Of course, I use ORIGINAL program!

I know, people here are stilll unfamiliar with using original softwares. But when price meets advantages, why would you still pick up illegal version??

I bought my Kaspersky package at IDR 590K in a computer store in Galaxy Mall. It's usable for 3 users so each user only pay for less than IDR 200K per year ---> means you only need to pay for IDR 16K per month to get their one-year-full-protection!!!!

It's dirt cheap no???

Still want to use the illegal software??

There are many Kaspersky versions and key files being shared in internet, but once you install it you couldn't update it as Kaspersky has brilliant system to detect false keys and block your antivirus program activities!

What's the use of having antivirus program if your software couldn't detect the newest virus/ worms/ spywares/ trojans definitions??

I'm such an internet-whore, can't leave a day without internet. I do many things like checking mail, facebook-ing, browsing, downloading, and even online shopping. Strong antispyware helps me stay protected from any confidential data theft and credit-card-account hijacking! That's why I choose Kaspersky Internet Security over Kaspersky Anti Virus.

I'm not gonna risking my money and of course, choose to pay IDR 16K per month la!!!




Of course, there is option like using free antivirus programs. Well, it's your choice afterall. If it's strong enough and meets your need, why don't use the free version?

I used a free antivirus program before this paid-Kaspersky.
First few weeks, the free antivirus program worked pretty well. It updated regularly and protected my computer from those infected flashdisks. But last week, it began to trouble.. There was error in the updates file and unrepairable, required me to uninstall and reinstall the program all over again.

Soo.. NOT convenient yeah??

Well.... I'm very lazy, so I chose to buy the paid-version.. And I'm happy with my decision! *OMG it even rhymes*

But, I'm not being hypocrite!!! Honestly, I don't always use original software.. But as I said before, if price meets the advantages, why don't buy the original version??

Some original softwares are very very pricey. Photoshop CS3 costs USD 600++, Autocad costs USD 1300++.. I have to wait till I am very very rich to buy them all, hehehe.. :D

easter is coming

Two days to come is Ash Wednesday, marks the start of Easter feast. Catholics who are 18 years old or older have to do fasting on Ash Wednesday and every Friday during the feast, at least. Well~~ Erlin & Luci's birthday treat will be on this Friday and I don't know how to deal with that! Hahaha. We're going to Japanese food bistro.. sounds so irresistable to you huh?? Me, too! I love Japanese foods!
Unlike Moslem's fasting rule, the church still allows us to have drinks and eat full once in a day. Nah, I'm going to not have breakfast or lunch and move my digesting schedule to the afternoon, hahaha. :D

I got my ELPT certificate already!! Ha. Had been so nervous about it since yesterday, but the express fee served me well! :D Could have submitted the graduation form today, but I forgot to bring my birth certificate copy! ZOMG stupid to the max!! Tomorrow must submit it as it's the deadline..

Went swimming again with my sister and my breaststroke got better and better. So far I could do it for 40 metres non stop! Not a significant distance for you? Hehehe.. for me it is! But next time will improve it!
But being only able to do breaststroke makes my swimming session so boring. I want to learn front crawl too.. Last week Luci trained me a bit, but I still couldn't do it. Pretty much more difficult than breaststroke, yeah??

The pricey-but-pretty bag is haunting me!! Aaarrggghhh... no no no! Must stick to my mind, saving up money! Can't buy that bag! Can't buy that bag!!!

I scored 563 in my ELPT test.. or about >600 is converted to TOEFL score system!! Hiak hiak~~ happy la.. :D I quitted my English course in IALF about three years ago but my English skill is still good, hehehe... Not praising myself of course, I still need to improve it!

I took my test in PINLABS. I need that ELPT certificate to attend graduation.. Never expect that they have such crappy bureaucracy!! Stupid me, should have expected it as yeah... intricated bureaucracy is my school's middle name!!

Grace told me that the girl in reception promised that we could get our ceritificate and legal copies in the same day, Monday. So I went there to collect my certificate, but she requested 3x4 photos. I didn't know so I didn't bring it. I went out to print photos, and went back to the office within LESS than 30 minutes. After filling the form, the girl told me that I could collect my certificate in Thursday!! Shiok la.... The faculty deadline is Wednesday!!!!

Nah. I asked her why my friends could collect their certificates today and why I couldn't.. She said that they only had FOUR already-signed-certificates and those all were for my friends and I needed to wait untill Thursday to collect mine. When I asked her if it's possible to get it earlier, she asked me to pay more, express service cost me IDR 25K.. while regular service cost me IDR 15K only... -____-"" And still, she couldn't promise it!!!

Seriously, wtf?????

To get my certificate signed, I need to wait for THREE days.
To get legal copies, which are also signed (of course with the same person la!!), I only need to wait for TWO hours!

Does it make sense??? DOES IT?? DOES IT??

And after collecting my certificate, I'd need to copy it five times by myself and return the copies to the PINLABS and pay IDR 5K (again) to get them legallized!! Why don't they directly copy it and legallize them???

Don't tell me to stop ranting unless you could make it clear!

Not an offday

I'm so boring... My mum was giving seminar and she told me to come with her also.. No point la, as i don't understand her topic at all.. Perhaps she'd just asked for accompaniment.. But i'm happy as she had just bought me that skinny jeans i'd wanted... Lalala~~ maybe that works as a bribe.. Bad daughter I am...

Also got two vouchers from Celebrity Fitness last night, worth 21 days free fitness service.. So happy la...

I'm going to redeem it tomorrow...

I wanna go swimming but my swimsuit is still wet, and every inch of my body still aches.

Erlin has just got back from her trip and shared with me interesting stories she had while visiting HKU. Ahhh.. so envy her... so want to study there. Postgrad course costs me fucking HKD 167K p.a!!! Whose money?? Die die die.. *burying dream* Is that wrong to dream big though I really don't know how to generate such huge amount of money?

I'm so dum dum.

I HAVE LOST WEIGHT!

My scale pointed at 50 kgs right now, only lost ONE KG, but it MEANS HUGE to me! Fifty one kgs is already underweight, can't get any skinner leh!!!

I don't wanna a skeleton-like look!

I'm eating like crazy, as usual.. I'm in no diet.. Is it due to swimming?? Only swim twice and lost one kg liao?? Doesn't make sense!

My dream is so high, to enroll the prestigious MDS class in one of the world's top univeristy, Hong Kong University and work in the same city. I'm gonna build my surgery career there and work together with world's best surgeon. Although it might cost me a lifetime, means there's no even chance to make a family, as long as it's worth it, why not?
But, it's neither easy nor cheap also. Tuition fee plus living cost will cost me hundred thousand bucks and I'm not sure I can earn such huge amount of money within only few years. ):

Might sound non-sense right now, but who knows when the chance comes??

While waiting and preparing for that right time, I'm gonna enjoy my life to the fullest ;)

And also keep living on prayer~

Meanwhile.....

I'm sooo happy to be swimming again! Hehehe. After long pause, abt 2 years or so, I was completely un-confident and almost forgot how to swim as well.. Xixixi~ Lucky as my brother was quite an expert and by his accompaniment, I could swim again :D

Though at this time I'm only able to do breaststroke, but I'm looking forward to master front crawl as breaststroke makes me move slowly. Frontcrawl moves fast, and that's what I need to pass 200 metres non stop swimming test in order to attend PADI OW class :)

Btw, I just bought new swimming goggles from Speedo with anti-fog. I used it two days ago, and proven that it had anti fog. But today when I used it again, the fog suddenly appeared on inner lenses. Why did it happen? Was the anti-fog layer washed out? Fyi, I often put off my goggles and wet it with water. Is it the reason? Anyone please help me.. :(

今天比較累了.. 跟我妹妹一起去P.Atom 買到了些片錄影片; 兩片韓國電影—Best Chef 和 Baby & Me; 兩片台灣電影 – 愛的, 發聲練習 和 我的億萬麵包.. 想用那些台灣電影幫我練習我的聽力喔! 哈哈~~

今天也把登記已經昨完了.. 哎唷..因為今天沒見面, 所以 還沒把我的論文和禮物送給輔導者.. 可能是星期一才能把論文和禮物送好了..:)
用華語寫日記是比較煩喔! 因為我的生詞也不多, 要寫什麼 就 先在詞典找生詞 才會寫下來.. 真的麻煩.可是為了我的華語進步, 雖然知道自己的華語比較亂, 一定要多讀多寫多說啦! Hehehe.. :)

這個學校放假, 我也想開始學游泳. 兩天前跟妹妹去了TP找游泳衣. 在ARENA 有漂亮的, 可是價錢比較貴..還沒決定買不買.. 價錢比較貴, 我不想媽媽罵我啦!! Hehehe.. ;D

Okay la, 我先走吧!明天還要教漢語.. 啊~~ 太煩了~ 沒有活動說厭煩, 有了活動還說厭煩.. 應該是怎樣才好呢??

現在正放假, 所以要再複習我的華語課.. 畢業以後, 很想去台灣學華語.. :)

It's so weird to study language in Taiwan but I basically want to continue my study in HK. Hahahah... :D

So many things I want to do, but only few I can choose..

I want to learn scuba dive, I want to study overseas, I want to master Chinese language, and more I want this and that. Bahh!! No money but still have soooo many wants!!! Hahahah...

Bali Trip Day Four: Watersports

This day was the BESTEST DAY of all!!!

I know la I blog like shit on my previous holiday entries.. can't help it cos it happened like shit also, hahahah...

But this day was my favourite afterall~ as we had watersports session in Tanjung Benoa!!!!
Well, not all of us played here.. Erlin was bed-resting in hotel, Luci was stilll feeling not well, and the rest of the group actually wanted to play boogie car (which cancelled because Erlin's condition)..

I got this price:
scuba diving : IDR 250K
banana boat + jet ski : IDR 150K
All good deal made thanks to Harry and Hamed for bargaining so hard!! Hehehe.. :)

First we gotta change our clothes into special wetsuit..

and tried the most suitable pair of fins~

The tutorial the began.. Our instructor taught us basic principle of diving, not to be panic while being underwater, how to manage ear pain by doing equalization, how to breath underwater, essential signs, etc.

The hardest part for me was when we tried to breath using regulator.

Have I mentioned that I failed to breathe using snorkel while I was going snorkelling in Nusa Penida?? I couldn't breathe thru it as I always wanted to vomit out everytime I sucked air in... I was very very nervous and anxious..

and always wanted to vomit out as well!!!!

Thanks to some help from my friends that I could keep my persistence to work it out... cos eventually I made it out!

After everything was clear, our instructor invited us to dive in open water~

Of course, it wasn't as smooth as I expected...

I was more nervous than I thought.. The image of the lost Japanese surfers and knowing that I had no swimming ability, the possibility of getting drowned etc almost made me wanted to cancel my diving plan.. What if I couldn't breathe? What if I wanted to vomit out? and other what-ifs..

When we're in the water, our instructors helped us wearing BCD jacket while we're holding on the boat rope. After the BCD jacket had been set, he brought us away from the boat and invited us to get into the water.. All of my friends had let go the rope, except me!! Whoaaa.. I couldn't get my hands off of the rope and I couldn't dip my head into the water!!!!

"Ah, why is this one so difficult??? Cmon let's go down, your friends are already there!!" He almost got mad at me, hehehe.. :P

He dived first and pulled my body under....

And suddenly I forgot about my fear.

I didn't realize myself breathing thru regulator.. All I saw was my friends were all there down

and I just wanted to get close to them!

The next time I remembered was that I had settled myself comfortably there and played with fishes and camwhored a bit.

HAHAHA.

After 30 mins underwater, our diving session expired and I bad goodbye to those fishes..

I continued playing banana boat and jet-ski..

Looks like I'm a pro driver...

I wasn't driving alone la... an instructor accompanied me and drove until we're quite far from the beach then he let me drive it alone.. :)

Done with all watersports, we headed to Dreamland beach..

Bali Trip Day Three: stroll and stroll

There was really nothing special in this day.. Our former agenda was going to Ubud to visit Bali's Safari, but I couldn't stand sitting on the car for damn two hours to while some friends were on the way there, I spent time with Camel Luci and Mucul strolling around Seminyak-Legian-Kuta area. I knew it was boring, but I really couldn't stand another road trip anymore -- I couldn't see myself do that only to watch animals!! :P

Ares and Hamed dropped us at Legian st.
The weather was crap like usual laa...

Luci and Mucul decided to have their nails done in Legian st. While they're having time there, Camel and I continued our walk until we reached Seminyak and found nothing interesting. Already screwed by bad weather perhaps.. so we stopped a taxi and off to Discovery Shopping Mall to have lunch there.

The beach view should have been pretty if it weren't because the cloudy sky~~ such a turn-off!

We then walked back to our hotel..

The bombings didn't make this place dead. In fact, more pubs, bars, and discotheques open here, makes this area become more alive at night.

I went to a newly opened club named Engine Room with Mucul's friends.. I was surprised there was no cover charge at all for the guests. People could freely come in and out as they wished... Compare it with Blowfish in Surabaya, they charge their guest about IDR 150K and thus, their guests are automatically selected. You know what I mean, don't you?

Bali Trip Day Two: Quicksilver Cruise

This was my very first cruise experience and I was very anxious about it. Have I told you that I have motion sickness that make me not being able to sit on any rides??

When I visited Genting Highland in Malaysia in 2005, I sat on Flying Coaster and I ended up vomitting after the ride.
The same thing happened when I visited Lotte World in Korea in 2006. I sat on Atlantis and I ended up resting for the whole afternoon alone in my hotel.
Since that, I never challenged myself to sat on any rides, no matter how challenging they look or how rude my friends insult me.

Of course I was very anxious about it!

I tried to prepare everything very well.. I prepared to get myself proper breakfast cos proper breakfast would make me feel healthier.
First plan was ruined by the hotel system as I hadn't expected that they would serve breakfast at 0800 am whereas that was the time when the cruise team would pick us up in the hotel!!! Of course I never expected it as as far as I knew, hotel usually started to serve breakfast at 7 or so... Being a bit pissed off, I took a walk and get myself a double Mac instead.. :(

It took almost one hour from Kuta to reach Tanjung Benoa.

During our way to Tanjung Benoa, we were praying for good weather.. good sun.. and good wind.. But this was what we saw after we're on board..

Knowing my sickness, my friends told me to get some anti-seasick pills but I refused. I wanted to witness my very first cruise!! I didn't want to just sleep!!

Instead of staying in the second floor, I walked out to the balcony to get fresh air and view.

Strong winds and wilder ship movements made me have to go back inside otherwise I would vomit out. Hahaha.

No longer than 30 minutes later, we arrived at Quicksilver pontoon. Everyone changed their clothes into wetsuits and were ready to play around.

Our cruising fee, IDR 475K covered all facilities included changing room, ocean fish spa, waterslide (threw you directly into the sea!!), snorkelling, banana boat, and buffet lunch!!

It would have been nice if the weather had been nice also!

When we started to go snorkelling, it also started to rain. Nusa Penida already had strong currents and bad weather made it stronger. We easily got dragged away from the pontoon and hardly swam back so we decided to switch to banana boat instead. But the weather got worser then.. until two boats before us were flipped upside down, two passengers got hurt at their temples.. made the crews had to close down the play :(

My mood was turned down as it got worser and worser and there's no hope to continue to play even after lunch time. The wind was super strong and chilling so I changed my clothes back and rested in the ship.

Practically, we didn't play anything here!!

Practically, we only sailed thru the sea just to get onto the pontoon, wet ourselves a while, had lunch, and got back &^%@$$@^@(!!!!!!

And my cam got accident here!! The internal LCD was cracked into two and I didn't know why or how?!?!!! Great not? Just after I bought a new battery, it became half-broken now~~ GRRR...

Halfway back to Tanjung Benoa, our ship suddenly stopped in the middle of nowhere. I was sitting next to the window and I saw a boat crew wearing raincoat running on the balcony. He was panicked and I could hear other crews were panicked too. People behind me were speculating about what happened. Most of them were Chinese tourists and they started to point to the sea. It took me quite few minutes to spot somebody was floating there. The closer he got, I could notice that he was Japanese, on his surf board swimming towards our ship. Few minutes later, his other two friends had found their way into our ship. A strange boat was coming to us, they were talking with our shipmen and left within minutes. My ship then off to saill again. I was told by a crew that boat had been looking for these men since three hours ago.. and actually they were four, but none of them was sure whether the fourth person had been found or not!!

Fyi, I had scheduled some watersports and that story WAS NOT a good beginning!!!!

I decided to bring back my mood!!

Strolling along Legian st. with my friends and hunted some clothes in Body & Soul biggest shop as they're having BIG SALE there! Who's not happy to hear the SALE word?? Hahaha. Though nothing interested me and was worth buying, I already felt happy~

This bistro was cooler than I thought! Their homeband was great, the music was great, and the athmosphere was great, too~~ I'd like to spend my whole night sitting here :)
