My moods and thoughts were recently screwed up that I can not and I don't want to blog. Sigh. I'm feeling so tired and fed up of my own stupidity and shortage of consideration in making decision that I almost always end up picking wrong choice. AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to Bali soon, but it's not nice to go with this kind of feeling.

Being regretful doesn't help changing the situation.

I hope everything goes fine.

Today I went to teach Chinese in my ex-elementary school. Has been doing this job since 2007 and honestly I didn't enjoy it at all at the first time. I don't have formal background in Chinese literature or language, my Chinese speaking isn't that well also, and I have stopped my Chinese language course since 10 months ago.. If it's not because it is my ex-school or the headmaster begged me or the school doesn't have enough money to hire a professional Chinese teacher, I would have rejected her request. I know I'm not capable...

So yeah, it's hard to deal with children, but I love their cuteness.

As students from grade 1-3 had parents meeting, I didn't teach their class. Some of them stayed at home and some still came to school accompanied their parents.

My Mum, who also teaches Chinese here, was invited to the meeting.. they did invite me too, but I rather stayed (or played) with my students than joined the meeting. :D

I dragged them into the class and got them busy.




Kids nowadays are sooo camera concious and they know how to pose!!!




Meet Graciella aka Ella from grade 2.
She is lovely but annoying too sometimes. She rarely brings money to school but she loves snacks so she always nags at me asking for snacks. I always tell her to ask her mummy instead cos I'm not her mummy but she doesn't care. -_-;; And though she pays attention a lot, she never gets good mark. Hahahah.

They're all from grade 2 also. Calvin is quite good in Chinese lesson. He has sister in grade 4 and she's way less smart than him. I taught her sister when she was in grade 3 and I never could communicate with her and she has difficulty in focusing herself to the lesson. Now I teach her brother and apparently he does lot better than her sister. He has promised me a Spongebob The Squarepants drawing by himself, too. Hahahah.

The chubby girl in white tee is Jessica. She's a two-grader also, one of top students. She always gets good mark in my class and her writing is very neat. The small girl right to Ella is her sister, Jenita. She's still in kindergarten and compared to Jessica, she's less talkative and shy. Jessica boss-es a lot, she reminds me of myself when I was at her age... ;P

After that, they went to the playground and was going to play Donal Bebek aka Zebra and Ella dragged me to play with them. But Jess told her friends that I'm tall and my legs are so long so that I could beat them all easily and she banned me. O__O;; Hahahaha...

Today is my last day in OMFS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery~ in case you wonder) clinic!!! Aahhhhh.... time flies soo damn fast!!!! I don't know if this day has finally come!!

Oh and this last day ends quite perfectly I think..
I just got back from Pedo clinic while Dr. Peter was about to start to anaesthetize this male patient who suffered from phlegmon! Nahhhh.... I finally can see with my own eyes how a phlegmon looks like!!!

Phlegmon is an intense inflammation spreading through tissue spaces over a large area and without definite limits (definition by Mosby's Dental Dictionary).
Its swelling is bilateral and involves the floor of the mouth.

Lucky as I brought my cam with me...

He was given shot of TEN bloody ampules!!! In my lifetime, I never witness a patient was given so many shots of LA!!! I once was taught that seven ampules was the maximum number but apparently in this case, they knew seven wouldn't help so they gave him ten!!! O___O

Dr. Peter gave three incisions below his jaw and did blunt-dissection to drain the pus out and deflate the swelling. Never in my lifetime I saw a patient with three artery-clamps pricked into his neck!! O____O

Ermm.. I don't understand why they didn't do it in OR but in clinic, perhaps they had their own consideration?? My classmates and residences were gathering around the dental chair, watching Dr. Peter performing the drainage, and busily capturing pictures. You might think that the patient was like a caged-animal in the zoo being exhibited to the zoo visitors, but our clinic is a educational clinic where dental students work and trained, so you can't complain :)

As it was getting more crowded and less comfortable, I left the crowd and wandered around to treasure every corner of OMFS clinic :D

"KRAN RUSAK" >> water tap has been out of order like this since last year (??) and they never got it fixed!! O__O;;

This is where we usually place our books, write surgery reports, or just lean our butt so that our legs could rest from five hours of standing every single day! They don't provide chairs or something so that we could sit properly!! Very inhumane!!!

Bags should be stored in, but it's very uncomfortable as your bags piled into a super narrow shelves with your friends' bags and you need to access you bag so often.. So most of us disobey the instruction and leave our bags outside which makes the clinic become messier lololol!!!

Semi-OR, where the simple surgery done. Tooth splitting, open method extraction, alveolectomy are usually done here.

I'm happy, yet so sad maybe~

I'm happy cos I'm leaving a clinic of which instructors are the most punctual and vicious among other clinics' instructors.

I'm happy because I'm no longer bothered by their requirements and works.

But....

I'm sad because I'm leaving a clinic which doesn't require us to bring our hand instruments and seek patients by ourselves. All we need is just preparing our brain and go.

I'm sad to leave a clinic where I feel like we were truly trained to be a dentist.

I'm sad because OMFS instructors are super fair instructors and they never intervene each other when they scold a student, that rarely happens in other clinic!

As addition, I'm sad because I no longer can see McDreamy as often as now...

I don't want to repeat the clinic, but I think I would miss those all.. :(

I feel like losing something! I usually be very happy to leave a clinic cos that means I've got no burden anymore.. but somehow, I am terribly sad to check out from OMFS...

I will miss wearing that green-button above my name badge, too!

I took pictures in changing room while waiting for Dr. Peter. Would've been better if someone helped me take those, but Erlin was the patient today so there's no way she could help me taking them. Bunch of thanks and mwachs to her as I finally completed my requirements. I love you and I wish your swollen cheek would disappear sooner before it reached CNY :D!!!

CNY is coming and that means hongbao is coming too!! Hohoho.

When I was a child, I loved collecting money from my parents and relatives. But these days, we rarely visit relatives' house so I can't collect as much as I did. I only get it from my parents and grandma. And usually it's not much too... Mum always says that its meaning is more important than the number of money inside.. But still, it's important too, isn't it? Hahaha. Nvm la. ;P

Some usual before-CNY customs are cutting hair and getting new clothes.
I usually also have my hair cut before CNY. But this year, I'm afraid I can't. I've just permed my hair and it has just started to grow longer, makes my perm looks more lovely, so I can't just have it cut la. Can't have my fringe cut also as I just cut it last week.. :D I want to buy new clothes oso but I don't have mood for shopping as most clothes look like crap to me, hahahah. Dunno lah.

Anyway~ this week is my last week in OMFS clinic. I want to take more pictures of me while extracting patient's tooth but I'm way too lazy to work, hehehe. Yeahh.. perhaps tomorrow.

I finished watching Nip/Tuck Season 2 last night and though Grey's Anatomy still wins my heart, this plastic serial is not bad la. I think I will buy the next series~ Plastic surgery is great, though I'm not brave enough to be on the operating bed.. If dentistry has its plastic field, I definitely get myself specialized in there!

Nope, I'm not writing a wrong title because actually, I am!

What needs to be slimmed though? Shouldn't you gain more weight instead??!!

Nahh.. I tell you. I am slim, but my tummy is NOT! Since I'm craving for a bikini show off in Bali, I feel an urgent need to slim my tummy cos it's fucking gross to show off your tummy while wearing bikini. Hiak hiak~ But I only have two weeks to achieve that, so welll... I'm putting my best! I do cardio, muscle training, cut off carbs and fats, and drinking WRP Body Shape!

WRP Bodyshape is a product from Nutrifood, contains CLA and L-carnitine for helping burning fat faster and more efficient. Workout can hardly eliminate fat in your tummy, thighs, arms, and bottom so you need extra help to get rid of it.


It has become my staple now.. :D


Now I understand perfectly how torturous diet is.


I am fucking gluttonous and now I have to cut off my meals and snacks and that causes my stomach growl painfully :( But I wanna get rid those fugly fat!!!

Actually, the idea of being slim isn't that superficial as I used to think about before. It's not always about the looks. I tend to think that, if having a nice body could make you happy then why not go for it?? A well-shaped body could boost up your confidence thus make you look happier. By looking happier, you are prettier. As you are prettier, you won't need those superficial make-ups etc. and that means you are away from those chemical thing. That means you are healthier now, and who doesn't want to be healthy?? Very very logic eh??? I am genious :D

Meanwhile..
I have succesfully inserted SSC crown on my Pedo patient!! Hiak hiak~ :D It was difficult at the beginning as it didn't fit the tooth perfectly as it should, but with some help from Budi and lots prayer I sent during manipulating the crown, it eventually fit well!! Happy la~~

I love children but Pedo clinic is wayyy tooo exhausting!!! So, hate it..

Tomorrow will assist Dr. Peter in Erlin's odontectomy.

Last week, I didn't assist McDreamy as he prefer a residence to be his assistant. :( Kinda disappointed cos I really want to see him performing a surgery. As Erlin's going to remove her wisdom tooth, she's scheduled tomorrow with me and Kurniawan as the surgery assistants. I will bring my cam so I can take pictures while wearing the surgery gown :D Or if Dr. Peter is even kind enough, I'm gonna take some pics during the surgery~~ I hope I can try the google, too!! Nyahahahah~~

Hello!!

I'm assigned back in OMFS clinic for two weeks!! Goddamn it.. I was just too lazy to move an inch of my butt to do work. Ahiahahah... My legs still cramps due to some workout I had two days before. Workout?? Yayaya~~ I am exercising, baby! I want a flat abs so I need to exercise! Even bought L'oreal Perfect Slim, too! Hiak hiak~~

I'm so bored.. Got no mood for blogging.

Holidayyyy~~ holidayyyy~~ holidayyyy~~ is all I can think about.

I want to be fluent in Chinese again.

It's not that I was fluent, but my Chinese was really not bad la! I was sure I could survive in a Chinese speaking country alone, without English at all! But since I quitted my chinese course last year, my ability keeps decreasing and decreasing. I lost lots of characters and grammar skills.. :(

I'm not going to take lesson in my previous course place. Someday I'm going to Taiwan or HK to learn the language. Why not China? Because I'm going to learn the traditional characters as I think its form is much more artistic and interesting yet so intricated.. :D

SCUBA DIVING!!!!!

I hesitated at first as I had back problem aka scoliosis, but I don't find anything relates scoliosis to scuba diving. However, if you do find something please kindly let me know, would you?

Why am I suddenly interested in scuba diving??

Because wearing mask-snorkel-fins-wetsuit while carrying O2 tank on your back is way much cooler than wearing such a waterproof-astronout-like helmet on my stupid head and walking on the seabottom. Hehehe.. Isn't it?

More likeley because this web has persuaded me!!!

It doesn't require swimming skills, as they say.. "we dive, not swim.." and thru scuba diving I can explore more fishes and corals cos my move isn't limited by the stupid hose! That's such a KO to seawalking hahahah. I want to see Nemo and Dory!! I want to see mola mola, seaturtles and seahorses!! I want to see huge seafan and spaghetti-like anemons!! I want to see squids and octopuses!! I want to see jellyfish, but not get stung!! And I don't wanna see sharks! Oh goddd.. I would be able to see what I have seen so far in DC or NatGeo right in front of my eyes!!!! *gasping*

However, I still think that it's much more dangerous and complicated, too. They say that I need to learn few basic diving techniques and get familiar with the snorkels, underwater pressure, water temp, etc. But compared to what scuba diving will give me, isn't it worth a try??

I'm confused with the site though, whether it's in Benoa or Nusa Penida. This is my very first experience and I don't want to regret. Some webs say that Nusa Penida has better fishes and corals but also strong currents so it's not safe for first divers. Benoa is safer, but less beautiful. Is that true?? Can someone help me choose?? I'm going on early Feb, is the weather safe enough for diving? And is buying disposable underwater camera necessary?

I was ssooooo nervous while waiting for my other patient, wondering whether or not he would show up. And he showed up at 09.00 am strike!! Gotcha. I love you I love you~~ mwachhh!! He's scheduled for a visit next week, to control the curretage result progress. =)

Happiness is me! Hahahahaha~~

Next week gotta finish Pedo clinic requirements, too. I feel so positive now =D

And Forensic exam was awesome, too. There was a-behind-the-scene though but it's not wise to talk about it in internet where nothing is trustable. I finished ten questions in less than 10 minutes.

Update on Bali trip:

The number of attending people is reaching seventeen!!
Fyi, our first plan only included ten people.. That makes me quite edgy too because I believe that the more people in, the more problems come. It's not that I don't like them joining us, but well.. it's out of expectation!!

I had it on my last visit in August, but it is sooo addictive and I want to do it again!! Fly up about 5 meters above the water surface. Unlike in the picture above you're facing the raft, you can't see the seas. My instructors told me to the lay back on the raft so when it's flying, I can see the sea!!! Very thrilling!!!

I want this! I want this!!!! Doesn't it look super cool??? The astronout-like helmet is connected to the surface by hose to provide fresh air, so you can breathe exactly as you can above the water! No swimming skills needed, which is very helpful cos I can't swim!! However, I have to flatten my abs to the max if I'm planning to wear my bikini, huehehehe~~

I've slept like a pig for bloody six hours this afternoon and haven't finished studying for Psychiatry exam tomorrow... (_ _;;) I skipped almost its classes so I got no idea about the lesson. Damn lazyyyy.. It's almost midnight and I am not sure I have finished them all and instead, I am blogging.. I am freak I know it.
Also have made up my mind about the trips! I think I choose Bali trip over HK trip. See.. my mind changes quite fast!! It's very easy to decide something after you get enough sleep!! Hahahahaha.. See ya!

My friends and I are planning a trip to Bali on early Feb!!! Yaayyy~~ But I'm still confused as I have planned to visit HK, too! Sigh. And I can't pick both cos I don't have enough money.. or perhaps you will donate me?? Hahahaha.. Nice nice!

I can't miss Bali trip cos almost all my friends are going there and I'd kill myself if I miss it.
But I've been saving money for my trip to Hong Kong, too. If I use the money to go to Bali, then I have to wait until my saving is enough again to go there.

I can not choose!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, people.. Heheheh~~ I’m about 43 and ½ hours late for this, but never mind la!

It’s not interesting if all bloggers posted their entries on one time.. :D If you’re thinking I’m outta town, you’re completely wrong cos I was nowhere except in my lovely homy home.

In 2008, I was joking too much, made lots of mistakes, embarassed myself, lost people’s respect and trust.
This year, I’m gonna be more serious.

I failed in Oral Med’s clinic; didn’t finish my requirements in Perio on time so I had to take extended clinic time.
This year, there were only two decisions: no more underestimating, no more procrastinating.

I spent too much money till my bank balance dropped on to IDR 20K only.
This year, I’m going to be more considerate and wiser about it.

I didn’t travel overseas.
This year, I’m going to fulfil it.

I lost many Chinese vocabs and grammar skills.
This year, I’m going to review my Chinese language lessons.

And there are still sooo many many plans I’m going to carry out. It’s like, “Oh, I’m going to do this.. that.. and this too.. and that too..” bla bla bla but I’m worried if I can’t. Those are my TOP FIVE resolutions.

Ahhh.. My NYE went as usual. I was staying at home, watching Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire on tv with my family, snacking for whole night, and off to bed after 00.01. Hahahaha…. That boring, cos Mum would never allowed me to attend NYE party out there or etc cos people were crowding in any streets of the town. They blocked the road and the traffic was heavily jammed, which was such a huge turn-off.

I had succesfully cleaned up my ultra messy bedroom *will post about it later* and found some kiddy pictures of mine I'm gonna share with you.
